Pick a Tuesday–Thursday slot. At pickup you'll complete ATF Form 4473 with a valid government-issued photo ID, and we run the NICS background check. Most checks clear while you're standing here.

What to know before your transfer.

What do I need to bring to pick up my firearm?

A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID showing your current address — a North Carolina driver's license is the simplest. If your ID doesn't show your current address, bring a government document that does (vehicle registration, tax bill) along with it. You'll complete ATF Form 4473 on site.

How long does the background check take?

Most NICS checks return a result within minutes while you're at the counter. Some are delayed by the FBI for further review — that's outside any dealer's control. If yours is delayed, we'll hold the firearm securely and contact you the moment it clears.

Can I have a firearm shipped to you before contacting you?

Please reach out first. Most sellers require a copy of our license before they'll ship, and a quick heads-up means we're expecting your package and can log it in the day it arrives.

Do you charge extra for handguns or NFA items?

Handguns and long guns are the same flat $30. We currently handle standard Title I firearm transfers only — if you're looking at suppressors or other NFA items, contact us and we'll point you in the right direction.

Why appointment-only?

Appointments mean your paperwork gets full attention, your background check is run without a line behind you, and you're in and out quickly. Tuesday through Thursday slots are available — evenings can often be arranged, just ask.

Can you order a specific firearm for me?

Yes — that's the special-order service. Tell us the make and model, and we'll check distributor stock and quote you a written price including the transfer. You approve before anything is ordered.
